The fourth annual 8595 Homecoming Hospitality Tent is back!
Click here for a preliminary list of Tent Benefactors and Hosts, or go to the bottom of this page to see a list of who has registered so far. About 350 alumni, friends, and family members have stopped by each Homecoming, and we expect to break all records this year.
Homecoming has long been the preeminent event of the William & Mary alumni calendar—the 8595 tent provides a festive new complement to the weekend's official happenings. It is a new niche focused on the classes of 1985 through 1995, a way to rendezvous with classmates and friends you might not otherwise have run into in the larger crowds.
The 8595 tent opens at 10:30am on Saturday, October 24th, 2009, at Crim Dell Meadow and will close before the end of the game. Please note that we have moved to Crim Dell Meadow (immediately West of the Sunken Gardens) due to the construction of the new Career Services building at the location of our 2006-2008 site. Our new location is shaded and has a great view of old campus and is still close to the stadium and bathrooms at Sadler Center.
There is no charge for admission, food, or beverages. Costs will be covered by Benefactors, Corporate Sponsors, and informal contributions.
Gold Level Benefactors are those who contribute $200+ (per individual) per year and Green Level Benefactors are those who provide funds of $100-199 (per individual) per year. Each contributor will receive a basic accounting of expenses and revenue at the end of the calendar year. Please note that contributions are not tax deductible.
While the focus of the 8595 effort is on this 11-year span of class years, the 8595 tent is open to all. And, as in 2007 and 2008, there will again be a 9606 tent next to our space as an added bonus for the alumni in the youngest part of our range. See the 9606 Website at http://www.9606.org for more.

8595 is an unofficial, grassroots effort organized by alumni of the College of William & Mary.
